Drew Blythe Barrymore, born 22nd February 1975 is an American actress. Numerous accolades have been awarded to her, including the Screen Actors Guild Award and an Golden Globe, five Emmy Award nominations, and a BAFTA nomination. She belongs to the Barrymore actor family and the granddaughter of John Barrymore. Barrymore achieved fame as a child actress with her part in E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial. After a troubled childhood that was rife with alcohol and drug abuse, she released Little Girl Lost, an autobiography. She then appeared in a string of highly successful movies throughout the 1990s which included Poison Ivy Boys on the Side, Mad Love, Batman Forever, Scream and Ever After.
